Despite starting construction in fall 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the 242-unit building is now over 85% leased and was sold for $103.5 million to Pacific Life Insurance in October 2022. The judges noted that Marquette had taken a risk in building the project, which is located in an unproven area on the edge of the former meatpacking district, and achieved impressive rental rates of over $3.85 per square foot per month. The building boasts features such as an oversized pool, rooftop courtyard, coworking lounges, game rooms, an outdoor dog run, and a pet spa.
