In May, Marquette Companies welcomed its first residents to Tempo at White Oak, located across from White Oak Music Hall, one of the city’s top live music venues. Tempo brought 304 luxury apartments to Houston’s hot Woodland Heights neighborhood, about three miles from downtown.
Drawing inspiration from the nearby music venue, Tempo at White Oak offers music-themed amenities, such as a performance stage and professional-grade recording studio, both in the lobby. Residents also can enjoy an outdoor lounge with stadium seating that overlooks the neighboring concert hall’s outdoor stage.
The six-story community offers studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans, with up to two bathrooms, ranging in size from 515 to 1,340 square feet. Most apartments include a balcony or patio space, and all residences feature high-end finishes, including waterfall quartz countertop kitchen islands, designer soft-close cabinetry, gas stovetops and stainless-steel appliances. Residences also have wide-plank oak flooring throughout and spa-inspired baths with LED-lighted mirrors.
Additional community amenities include a resort-style pool with a submerged seating bench and a sundeck with a grilling station, both of which are on the second level facing the music venue. The fourth floor has an interior courtyard with a walking path and seating areas, offering a more secluded option for
enjoying the outdoors. Residents have access to an open-air, ground-level dog run as well as a pickleball court.
Indoor amenities include a sky lounge with unobstructed views of downtown, a fourth-floor bar lounge, and separate cardio and strength-training fitness studios.
