CHICAGO (December 15, 2023) — Marquette Management, a national leader in multifamily management, has been named property manager for three rental developments in suburban Chicago. With Ovaltine Court in Villa Park, Ill., The Ponds of Naperville in Naperville Ill., and Woodlands of Crest Hill in Crest Hill, Ill., the firm adds 1,290 apartments to its management portfolio of more than 40 properties and 14,787 units.
“In today’s market, property owners are looking for management that excels as a steward of both the resident experience and the value of their investment, something Marquette Management has been known for throughout our multiple decades in business,” said Marquette Management Chief Operating Officer Jim Cunningham. “Demand is strong for suburban rental in the Chicago area, but so are multifamily market headwinds. Being awarded these property management contracts is a reflection of our track record and reputation for extraordinary service to both community residents and ownership.”
Recently acquired by Osso Capital, Ovaltine Court offers 344 apartments with a variety of one- to two-bedroom floor plans in an adaptive reuse of the historically significant Ovaltine Factory. Amenities include a pool with sundeck, 24-hour fitness center, conference room, playground, a picnic area with grills and EV charging stations. The community is walking distance to several local restaurants and shops, and a short drive to the Metra commuter rail station offering quick access to downtown Chicago.
Located near Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve, The Ponds of Naperville features 216 one- and two-bedroom apartments across multiple buildings with amenities such as a community clubhouse, playground, picnic area, pool and sundeck, and fitness center with Peloton bikes. The family-friendly community is located in the highly rated Indian Prairie School District 204.
Situated on 17 wooded acres, The Woodlands of Crest Hill, also owned by Osso Capital, offers 730 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. Outdoor amenities take advantage of the community’s park-like setting with a resort-style swimming pool, sand volleyball court and dog park. Indoors, residents have access to a fitness center, remote-work-friendly clubhouse, and business lounge with computers and printers.
“Each of these properties supports a different resident lifestyle which speaks to our experience managing properties with a range of sizes, locations, amenities and resident profiles,” said Cunningham. “Consistent across all the properties we manage is our customer-centric focus and authenticity in how we do business, whether that is with ownership and asset management, on-site employees or community residents.”
Marquette Management’s portfolio includes properties in other states like Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Minneapolis, Tennessee and Texas, such as 100 Forrest Place (Oak Park, Ill.), Creekside Ranch Apartments (Bradenton, Fla.) and Forth at Navigation (Houston).
